Bak Kut Teh is a popular chinese cuisine that originated from China's Fujian province and introduced to Malaysia by Hokkien immegrants who moved to this country in the 19th century.

Bak Kut Teh, or also known as Pork Ribs Soup is a dish that is made from pork ribs stewed with a mixture of fragant herbs and spices such as garlic, cloves, cinnamon, star anise, fennel seeds, and coriander.

This dish is said to be popular among chinese residents as a hearty breakfast before they start their exhausting day at work.
